To celebrate the launch of their new sports channels, Sky Sports hosted a number of sports challenges, with teams led by famous sporting personalities, including Natalie Pinkham and Rachel Brookes for F1.
WTF1 was invited to represent F1 for the influencers, and to promote the all-new Sky Sports F1 channel. We were tasked with raising awareness and engaging our millennial motorsport enthusiasts with the events of the day.
As 1 of 50 influencers, WTF1 provided in-moment coverage on Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat. Using Sky’s campaign hashtag raised awareness of the day and encouraged further discovery.
Using the popularity of our lead presenter, Matty, the content we produced provided a fun encouraged fans to share on their own channels.
As promised, WTF1 ensured the campaign was seen by hundreds of thousands of users, and generated over 10,000 engagements for Sky in just 24hrs.
We were rated 9/10 on influencer scale for the hashtag #skysportsday (according to social listening tool, Brand24).
