8 Kimi Raikkonen Adverts That Are So Bad They’re Good

As a Formula 1 driver, you have to appear in a hell of a lot of adverts. Whether it’s for shampoo (Jenson, we’re looking at you), a pizza restaurant chain or car fuel, you’ll always see F1 personalities being featured in the latest marketing campaigns.

Kimi Raikkonen is no different, despite hating most of the duties related to media and advertising. His ice-cool personality, zero fucks given attitude and dry sense of humour doesn’t often translate well to adverts, but with the Iceman, it just makes things hilarious.

So natural, Kimi

Because he isn’t reading this off a script or teleprompter, or anything…

Incredible acting

Maybe he’s found a new career path for after F1? Also, WTF is this advert? Disturbing…

He looks so happy…

Kimi’s obviously loving the Renault Megane.

OK, so this advert isn’t so bad

No speaking parts and just staring at the camera, just like a normal F1 weekend for the Iceman.

“Wow, not bad”

Because the Fiat Bravo is the perfect car for a racing driver. It’s in German but the subtitles mean we can see just how hilariously corny the advert is. #KeepFightingMichael

So awkward, it’s funny

Giancarlo Fisichella and Raikkonen is not a great combination if you want a fun and light-hearted advert.

Because pit stops are for drink breaks

This one is just so cheesy.

“Photocopier”

A throwback to the early days with McLaren. Yep, still hilariously bad.

Never change, Kimi.
