All Four Red Bull Drivers Took A Very Risky Flight After The Austrian GP

After driving a 200mph F1 car all weekend, you’d imagine that F1 drivers might want to chillax for a bit before hopping back in for the next round. However, Red Bull and AlphaTauri have a slightly different approach…

After the Grand Prix in Austria, all four Red Bull drivers decided to take a quick trip to a private lake to try to wind down a bit. Pierre Gasly, Yuki Tsunoda, Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen all flew together, but the pilot decided to have a bit of fun along the way!

“We were flying with a seaplane and the guy started to go completely nuts,” explained Gasly on the TauriTalk podcast. “And yeah god knows how much I like flying and I discovered that Yuki had the same passion as me so we were like screaming inside the plane as the pilot was doing flips and like crazy turns in the sky.”

Red Bull does have a thrill-seeking reputation, but with four world-class F1 drivers onboard, surely air acrobatics in the middle of the season is a bit too risky?!

However, with such precious cargo onboard, Gasly knew nothing could go wrong. He laughed and said “I mean we felt safe because Max was there so we know they can’t fuck it up if Max is in the plane!

“So I was like ‘okay they know what they’re doing’ but it was risky, you had all four drivers inside that plane. If anything happened there would be no one for the coming race.”

Luckily they all made it back down to earth safe and sound, but if Red Bull drivers are doing stuff like this DURING the season, WTF are they getting up to in the summer break? 🤯

Hopefully, they’re all just laying on a beach somewhere!
