All Of Manor’s Stuff Is Going Up For Auction – WTF1

All Of Manor’s Stuff Is Going Up For Auction

Late last year came the sad news that Manor Formula 1 team had gone into administration and withdrew its 2017 F1 entry.

This was after administrators failed in their hunt for a last-minute rescue deal and now a load of Manor’s F1 assets are set to go up for auction.

Selling off the assets is seen as the only way to pay back creditors and there are some big items on offer.

One lot is the 2017 Manor F1 wind tunnel model, which was being worked on just a few weeks ago before the team’s official demise.

There are also four rolling chassis show cars from 2015 and 2016 up for sale, so there could well be a few cheap F1 cars up for grabs.

The auction also includes pit lane equipment, engineering and inspection equipment, five F1 steering wheels, car parts from 2014, 2015 and 2016 (like tubs, wheel rims, tyres, nosecones etc) and pop up trailers.

There’s also some other boring stuff like team clothing, merchandise, office furniture and IT equipment. Not so fun, but we’re sure someone will want them.

But, clearly, the most intriguing item is the 2017 6:1 wind tunnel model – a look at the new era F1 car that’ll never race.

If you are loaded and want an F1 car/wind tunnel model or just want to buy a smaller memento, see more information here.
