Just a few weeks after Liberty Media confirmed their takeover Formula One it looks like another big name might be about to enter the fray.
According to a report from the Financial Times, technology giant Apple are in talks about a possible take over of McLaren, which includes McLaren Applied Technology, McLaren Automotive and, you guessed it, the F1 team.
The Apple acquisition of McLaren will naturally be a two way process with the iOS 10 version of Siri to be replaced with RonSpeak.

Apple have been looking to get into the automotive industry with their self-driving electric cars and with McLaren valued at around 1.5 billion dollars *Doctor Evil finger* Apple would only need to sell a handful of iPhone 7s and they’d have already made their money back.
Joking, joking. But seriously, can you imagine how expensive their supercars would be when they charge $700 for their phones?
Both Apple and McLaren have declined to comment on the takeover as of yet.
