Audi Sport TT Cup Driver Gets It Very Wrong At The Nurburgring

Losing control on a kerb at the exit of a quick corner at the Nurburgring was never going to end well

The Audi Sport TT Cup first race at the Nurburgring featured this terrifying, high-speed shunt for driver Tommaso Mosca.

Unfortunately, Mosca’s car managed to miss the softer, cushion-like tyre wall and crashed right into the Armco barrier.

He lost the rear of his Audi TT racing machine at the exit of the fast left-right chicane around the back of the Nurburgring circuit.

Running wide over the kerb and the grass pitched his car into a spin, smashing heavily into the barrier and bouncing into the air.

Mosca got out of the car on his own accord and seemed a little shaken, but appeared to be OK after the crash.
