To make matter worse the ‘budgie smugglers’ they were wearing featured the Malaysian flag, and while many fans seemed to enjoy the display, filming and having photos with them, some of the locals and officials took a dim view and the group were arrested soon afterwards. They are currently spending four days in jail and local police are investigating them for breaching the peace, public indecency and disrespecting the national flag.

While the whole thing was surely just a bit of fun it perhaps wasn’t the smartest thing to do in a Muslim country with strong views on public nudity by foreigners. Maybe next time read up on the local culture a bit, eh lads?
