Bernie Ecclestone seems to take the “any publicity is good publicity” approach like no one else and as F1 has been out of the news for a couple of days he’s made some more of his usual unpopular comments.
Speaking at a Advertising Week Europe conference, Ecclestone said women would probably be too weak to race in Formula One.
“I don’t know whether a woman would physically be able to drive an F1 car quickly, and they wouldn’t be taken seriously,” he said.
Unsurprisingly these comments did not go down well with people.

Oh but it gets even better, as during the conference he also said Donald Trump would make a great US president, immigration has done nothing for the UK and that Vladimir Putin should be put in charge of Europe.
Any publicity is good publicity, hey Bernie?
