The Brands Hatch GP circuit is a tricky track to master and there’s very little margin for error, which makes this Mercedes AMG GT3 save even more impressive.
Former Force India F1 reserve driver Juncadella was competing in Blancpain GT Sprint Cup qualifying when he ran wide at Stirlings Bend.
His beastly Mercedes bumped over the exit kerb and onto the grass, with Juncadella losing the rear end and almost spinning into the wall.
The Spaniard somehow kept the car pointing in the right direction, and after a second slide as he tried to correct the initial save, he was able to continue.
Save of the day? More like save of the month, so far.
