We’ve seen Formula One liveries on planes before, but this is actually one in real life! Brazilian airline Azul have painted one of their jets in tribute to Ayrton Senna on the 20th anniversary of this death. The plane features the logo from the ‘Instituto Ayrton Senna’ charity, while the front of it is painted in Senna’s iconic helmet colours.
To remember the 20-year legacy of Brazilian driver triple world champion Ayrton Senna, we pay tribute at the Salgado Filho International Airport in Porto Alegre, by introducing an Embraer 195 with a special paint job to celebrate the career of one of the biggest idols of all time.
The front of the aircraft received the painting of Senna’s helmet – the most memorable symbol of the Brazilian driver – in yellow, green and blue.
To celebrate the beginning of this partnership, we donated a million TudoAzul points to the Instituto Ayrton Senna, which will be exchanged for tickets to use in support of activities carried out by NGOs throughout Brazil.
