The BTCC is one of the most popular touring car championships in the world and the cars feature huge variety of different liveries. On a slab sided touring car some of the designs can look a little messy, but Tim Holmes has done a great job in transferring them to a Formula 1 car and they look all the better for it. With so many bright colours and bold, distinctive designs it really highlights just how dull current F1 liveries are.
It’s cool so see so many different sponsors too, though I don’t think Bernie would approve of something like ‘Mick’s Garage’ – unless it’s a garage specifically for the rich and elderly…
