The F1 2016 video game went down pretty well with fans, thanks to improved graphics, handling and an immersive new career mode.
Well, now you can play the game on your phone or tablet. More specifically, your iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
We’ve rarely seen official F1 games be released for mobiles, so F1 2016 for iOS is kind of a big deal and looks pretty damn good, judging by the trailer.
There are a variety of game modes (including quick race and full season), while – of course – featuring all of the 2016 cars, drivers, teams and tracks.
Apparently the mobile gaming technology has been pushed “to the absolute limit” with F1 2016 for mobile and there are a couple of control systems, which should mean racing novices and F1 fanatics will both feel comfortable playing it.
The game only runs on iOS 9 and iOS 10 devices, which isn’t surprising when you consider just how advanced and console-like the game looks (and the number of features in it.
Unsurprisingly, F1 2016 for iOS also isn’t free. You can buy it on the Apple Store for $9.99 (£7.92).
But if you have an Android tablet or phone, don’t worry. F1 2016 will be coming to the Google Play store in the “coming weeks”.
