Barely a moment seems to pass before Daniel Ricciardo does something to remind us all that F1 isn’t full of dreary personalities, and true to form it hasn’t taken him long into the USGP weekend to lighten the atmosphere by conducting an entire interview with Ted Kravitz in a Texan accent.
It sort of sounds OK at first, but before long the Aussie in him starts coming through to produce a sort of strange Australian-American hybrid accent. Hey, at least he got the right one this time! With no American driver on the grid this year, maybe Ricciardo will be a decent substitute for the fans, although perhaps he needs to take a quick geography lesson first. Also, what the hell are those shoes?!
Never change, Daniel. Never change.
