But when the masks ended up in the wrong hands things got even weirder. Daniel Ricciardo got hold of the Alonso mask to do his post-race vlog.

With Ricciardo now in the Alonso mask and Jenson Button wearing his own mask, the journey home from Suzuka looked hilarious.
