Naturally, with such a good first impression, he’ll likely be a name on the lips of several Team Principals up and down the paddock for a potential seat next year.
Chatting with media, including The Race, Nyck was asked if he thought he’d sent a solid message to teams like Alpine for next year.
“Yeah, I might need to prepare a PowerPoint,” Nyck joked. George Russell might be able to give him some tips on that 😂
“Any time you get a chance to drive a Formula 1 car, it is a kind of job interview.
“You’ve got to take those opportunities, but you’ve also got to use them sensibly because there’s always a trade-off of doing too much and too little. We took some points, and it was a great performance. And no one can take that away from us.”
