Formula One is going old school in 2017 with the return of big wings and huge fat tyres. Ferrari were the first to sample the new Pirelli tyres at their own test track in Fiorano, Italy.
Sebastian Vettel sampled the new rubber in last year’s Ferrari SF15-T, fitted with a wider wings to sample the increased downforce levels for 2017.

Haas F1 driver and recent racing roadblock Esteban Gutierrez will take over tomorrow, while Mercedes and Red Bull Racing will also get to sample the wider Pirelli tyres in private tests that continue right through until November.
