In their drive to continue adding new content to the game, Forza Motorsport 5 developers Turn 10 Studios have announced this week that the Spark Renault SRT 01E Formula E car is to be available as a free download from Xbox Live, marking the first time this yet-to-be-raced car has made an appearance in a video game. California’s Long Beach circuit was added to the Xbox One racer a few months back, meaning players will be able to fully pre-create the Formula E Long Beach ePrix due to take place next April.
Attendees to this weekend’s Gamescom exhibition in Cologne will also be able to set hot laps in the car, the fastest times winning VIP passes to the Formula E race in Berlin in May 2015.
