This year’s GP3 season hasn’t thrown up the most exciting of races but Race Two in Sochi certainly went against expectations.
Alex Fontana, Riccardo Agostini, Pal Varhaug and Richie Stanaway all made lucky escapes after a hard hit into the wall at the start, bringing out the red flag.
Once the racing resumed, an epic scrap for the victory between Patric Niederhauser, Marvin Kirchhofer and Dean Stoneman went down to the final lap, and it really was epic.
