There’s been a lot of talk recently about this new Halo head protection device being introduced into Formula One as early as next year and now Ferrari have decided to give it a try.
Kimi Raikkonen was the man lucky enough to have the carbon-fibre mankini in his face for a quick installation lap during today’s pre-season test in Barcelona.

No proper testing was done other than two installation laps around the Circuit de Catalunya with Raikkonen confirming the visibility was “okay” when running the device.
