The opening round of Formula E Season 4 took place this weekend but Lewis Hamilton seems to be more interested in what happened in the very first Formula E race back in 2014.
The F1 champion posted a video to his Instagram of the huge crash between Nico Prost and Nick Heidfeld from the Bejing ePrix three years ago, commenting on the post like it had only just happened.
OK, so Hamilton is one busy, busy guy but three years late to the party is the slowest he’s been since he was trying to stop Nico Rosberg from winning the title in Abu Dhabi last year.
Formula E themselves roasted him by commenting ‘this happened three years ago, keep up to speed, Champ!’ but Hamilton’s original post has since been deleted.
If like Hamilton you haven’t seen the crash, here it is. The Mercedes driver won’t be too happy to hear that Prost wasn’t behind and instead got a grid-drop for the next race.
