Hamilton Reveals He Invited A Trio Of Young Racers To Silverstone

Lewis Hamilton invited three up-and-coming karting stars to this year’s British Grand Prix, who all dream of following in the footsteps of the seven-time world champ!

As part of his mission to make the F1 world a better and more inclusive place, Hamilton invited Joshua Bugembe, Myles Harrison and Cordell to this year’s British Grand Prix.

Ranging from 11 to 12 years old, these three have some serious potential to reach an F1 grid at some point in their careers, with over 100 trophies between them! Meanwhile, I struggle to reverse out of my driveway!

Joshua, the oldest of the three drivers, set the course record at Rye House last year (41.64), whilst Myles has collected over 60 trophies by himself already! Cordell competes in three different championships and has been racing since he was six!

“It’s so important to pay that forward, support young talent, and work to ensure that the future of motorsport is more diverse than the present,” said Hamilton on Twitter.

“Joshua, Myles, and Cordell, thank you, I’m proud of all of you.”

Wholesome AF!

The three drivers were told live on camera about Lewis’ invite to Silverstone, and it’s safe to say they were pretty hyped!

Awesome stuff from Lewis!
