  • Max is Pastor Maldonado in a Tier 1 car. Disgraceful on track antics. People comparing his aggression with Schumacher are forgetting that Schumacher had talent to make his aggressive move stick, yes he did go over the line few times but Max is on another level with his dirty driving.

    • As long as FIA allows it to continue, why shouldn’t he? Brazil clearly showed that they can get away with barging another driver off the track. The confusion among the drivers afterwards further muddied the waters in that regard.

FIA needs to take a serious stance against this if they don’t want this to continue, it’s that simple. This wouldn’t have been allowed under Charlie Whiting.

  • Abdulrahman Almokla says:

Dirty driving should never be rewarded. Allowing Verstapen to get away with ineffective penalties is setting a dangerous precedent in a sport that everybody is trying to make safer

  • I enjoy hard racing, but if a driver forces another off the track, and either gains or maintains an advantage by doing so, they much be punished. After such a great season, I would hate to see the title decided by the stewards and, at this point, I doubt they’d have the guts to make that decision. For Horner to say they feel hard done by is a joke – Max forced Lewis off track twice, brake-checked him, and was found guilty of all offenses. Which rule-book are they looking at?

  • In real Life, if you rear end someone, you are at fault 100% of the time. Hamilton, “the best driver ever” somehow manages to drive within millimetres of walls at 300kph for 2 hours yet cant figure out how not to drive up the ass of another car. He saw it because he started to slow down. He said “he was confused” and that waives any fault of his? Great standard we expect from the pinnacle of motorsport!

  • Hamilton A*?

He impeded several drivers in practice, ignored double yellows (even though there was no yellow zone) and all in all seemed a bit confused the whole weekend

    • – “(even though there was no yellow zone)”, can’t hold it against him.
      – Impeding is never good, but I believe it’s only ever punished during quali? Gasly impeded Sainz in Q1 and didn’t get penalised
      – He got the most out of the car in quali, even if he wouldn’t have been able to match Max who stuck it in the wall.
      – Set the fastest lap with a broken front wing
      – Kept the wheel-to-wheel stuff pretty clean, relative to Max who got penalized twice and a 2-place grid drop.

I thought it was an “A”, but can see, given the pressure and what he had to put up with during the race, how he gets an “A*”.

  • I’m tired of HAM playing the victim all the time. Frankly, I’m tired of a bunch of them playing the victim all the time. I generally like NOR but he whines about things far too often and plays the victim. As does RUS. Track limits, the red flag rules, overtaking on a curve, they all complain about these things all the time and make it sound like they are the only ones who have been “cheated” by these rules. It is like footballers taking a fake fall to draw a penalty. If they play the victim all the time, do they really think they will get some kind of benefit from that? It is motorsports. These are hyper-competitive people driving very, very fast. They all want to win. They are all aggressive drivers and would do much of the same if they were in the same position. This “Jackie Stewart Standard” by some is ridiculous. And we all saw that HAM is just as capable of driving VER off the track as any other driver. He has the penalty points to prove it.
