As you surely know by now, Formula One is having a makeover in 2017 with new-look aero and even new-look tyres. The new Pirelli tyres will have an old school feel about them as they’re much wider, particularly the rears.
Today in Monaco, Pirelli showed off what Formula One tyres will look like in 2017, with the new wider rubber fitted onto a showcar.
Testing of these new tyres will begin in August on 2015-spec F1 cars slightly modified to simulate the high-downforce 2017 cars.
