F1 can’t seem to shake Nico Hulkenberg, and WE LOVE IT! The Aston Martin reserve is back in action this week for the first time in four months!
Hulkenberg will jump back into F1 mode this week, participating in a Pirelli tyre testing session with Aston Martin in Budapest.
There might be a few cobwebs to shake off, but the German has already had a taste of this year’s cars, subbing for a covid-stricken Sebastian Vettel in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

It must have been a bit of an awkward moment for Lance Stroll when Hulkenberg beat him in both the races he super subbed in for Seb this year, with Vettel returning in Melbourne.
Hulkenberg hasn’t been in a full-time F1 seat since 2019, standing in as a reserve driver for Racing Point and now Aston Martin, but it’s great to see him back!
Good luck Nico!
