Modern helmet designs feature amazing levels of detail and intricacy as drivers seem to go for ever more elaborate concepts. But whilst they’re pretty cool, their complexity means they somewhat lack the iconic simplicity of helmet designs from, say, the 1970s.
With that in mind, graphic designer Sean Bull has taken the 2017 grid and reimagined each driver’s helmet with a more minimalist style – both in terms of design and the helmet itself – and the results are absolutely top notch.
