IndyCar Had To Red Flag A Session Because Of Geese

When a session gets red-flagged in motorsport it usually comes down to something like a crash, debris, or really bad weather – not a load of geese. But that’s exactly what happened in IndyCar when a load of feathery friends decided to take up residence on the grass by the track, bringing the warm-up session to a temporary halt.

I mean, sure, Canada’s James Hinchcliffe and Robert Wickens are doing brilliant this season, but so well that even Canada geese want to come and watch? And you thought Ferrari fans were fanatical…

You can bet that the safety crews would never have expected to be herding geese when they woke up this morning!
