We’ve got mixed feelings about lengthy red flag delays because of rain. On the one hand, it sucks because obviously we all want to see actual racing, especially when the track is wet. But on the other, drivers and teams tend to relax a bit and find amusing ways to pass the time. Take James Hinchcliffe, who decided to tell a wonderful story about how he peed himself in the car.
The teams opted for a slightly less disgusting way to keep busy, though, and Penske and Ed Carpenter racing embarked on an epic game of noughts and crosses through the medium of tweets.
