The old-school Watkins Glen circuit is one of the best and most iconic in the world, so it’s no surprise the track looks amazing in onboard IndyCar visor cam laps
As many of you may know, we’re a big fan of the IndyCar Visor Cam and we got a double dose of it with two awesome videos featuring jaw-dropping hot laps around Watkins Glen.
IndyCar has been racing at the famous circuit this weekend, and we were treated to some awesome Visor Cam onboard footage on the series’ YouTube channel.
The two clips not only show off the laps from a driver’s perspective but also emphasise just how much of a challenge the undulating, classic Watkins Glen layout is.
First up, how about a few laps of the circuit with James Hinchcliffe? Check it out as he wrestles his Schmidt Peterson Motorsports machine around Watkins Glen.
The only problem with the video is we don’t get to see much of Hinchcliffe’s awesome gold/chrome livery.
The second video is of Graham Rahal chucking his car around the iconic layout, pushing to the limit through the sweeping corners.
