We’ve had to wait all week to see the launch of the Red Bull RB13 but its 2017 F1 challenger has now been revealed in a low-key online unveiling.
It’ll be raced this season by the ‘Honey Badger’ Daniel Ricciardo and ‘Mad Max’ Verstappen, with the team retaining its strong driver line-up.
The RB13 retains the matte paint debuted in 2016, which really suits the new car.
It continues the shark fin trend but also features an unusual nose, which seems to include a vent. No doubt there’ll be some protests over that one!
Red Bull will be hoping for some better luck this season despite car number 13, and the new rules for 2017 give the team a chance to properly take the fight to Mercedes.
The team failed to score a victory in 2015 but bounced back with two wins last year, although Red Bull still finished almost 300 points behind the Silver Arrows in the standings.
The RB13 will hit the track for the first time on Monday with the start of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as the season properly swings into life.
