If you have a car failure at the Porsche Curves, you’re going to have a bad time. It’s fast, there’s no run-off and an armco barrier is waiting to grab you when it all goes wrong.
Ex-F1 driver Jan Magnussen was set to race in this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours, but when his Corvette’s throttle stuck open during qualifying, he hit the wall so hard that the #63 couldn’t even be repaired in time for Saturday’s race. Ouch.

Thankfully J-Mag was fine after the heavy impact.
