Max Verstappen had worked his way from a lap down at Singapore up into the points only to get told by Toro Rosso to let his team-mate Carlos Sainz through. Thankfully Max stood his ground and his team later said he was right to question the team orders.
The view was shared by Max’s former-F1 driving father Jos who told his son that he’d have kicked him in the balls had he obeyed the team order.
“I would have kicked his balls if Max had let Carlos pass.”
You know what? I think Jos is onto something here. Any driver accepting a pointless team order should get a kick in the nuts after the race. Who’s with me?
