The No.7 Lamborghini Huracan GT3’s 24 Hours of Dubai lasted just two hours after a massive fire erupted at the rear of the car.
One thing you never want to see is a stunning GT3 car bursting into flames on a race track. That’s exactly what happened to Andrea Amici’s HB Racing car.
After a left-rear tyre failure, a fire engulfed the back end of his Huracan GT3. It looked damn scary but fortunately Amici was able to quickly exit the car.
Amici was set to share the gorgeous neon-green Huracan with Herbert Handlos, Norbert Siedler, Sam Tordoff and Florian Spengler.
The incident took place in the second hour of the 24 Hours of Dubai, so it was a very early departure from the race for the No.7 machine.
