A crossover we didn’t know needed: a Lewis Hamilton cameo in a Stormzy music video. Unfortunately for us, it’s not an XNDA feature (a missed opportunity, to be honest), but instead, it’s a very random appearance from the Mercedes driver and his championship-winning cars.
The new video for ‘Longevity Flow’ from Stormzy was released on Monday night, and it didn’t take eagle-eyed F1 fans long to notice that our seven-time champion appeared in it.
Hamilton is introduced standing at Kensington Palace, talking to Stormzy and showing him just one of his championship-winning cars – but if you look in the background, more of them are lined up around the gardens. (Around the 59-second mark!)
It’s a very brief appearance – but he’s there!
He’s not the only high-profile star making a cameo appearance mind you; Tom Cruise also played a part as he was shown shaking hands with Stormzy. Again, quite random.
Stormzy has been a huge fan of Hamilton for several years and has attended a few races in the past. So, we guess it makes sense – If you want an F1 driver in the video for a song that discusses longevity, who better than a champion whose F1 career began in 2007 and shows absolutely no signs of retiring anytime soon? 😅
Okay, so Stormzy feat. XNDA, when?
