The hype for the 2017 Formula 1 season continues to build with every video of a new car being fired up. McLaren and Renault are the latest team to do just that.

It’s a year of change for McLaren in 2017, with new employees, a new name pattern, a rookie driver and big regulation changes to tackle.
This year’s F1 car will be called the MCL32 and is set to be unveiled on the 24 February, before testing gets underway in Spain from the 27 February.
But now, we’ve got our first chance to hear the MCL32’s Honda power unit in action.

Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne race for McLaren this year and quite a few hints have been dropped about a livery incorporating orange. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that proves to be true…

Renault’s RS17 has also had its first fire-up, with Nico Hulkenberg joining the team alongside Jolyon Palmer for this season.
Our baby is born! Turn your volume up LOUD & listen to the R.S.17’s first cry!
