Spa Francorchamps is such a classic circuit that everyone always wants to get a better view. This lorry went to a lot of effort but sadly for him, the race had finished.
As the teams were packing up following this years running of the Spa 24 hours, one lorry driver misjudged how much room there was in the paddock, knocking a car off the edge of the verge in the process and leaving the tractor unit of the lorry teetering over the edge. The Marc VDS BMW narrowly lost out on the win in a tense finish to the race, but team boss Bas Leinders still found time to tweet this photo. Thankfully no-one was hurt in the incident – except perhaps the lorry drivers’ pride!
