Magnussen Rumoured To Replace Maldonado At Renault

This year’s Silly Season has left a lot to be desired, with pretty much every driver staying put other than Romain Grosjean’s move to join the new Haas F1 team.

One thing people still can’t seem to make their mind up on though is if ‘Team Enstone’ will keep Pastor Maldonado and Jolyon Palmer now Renault have bought Lotus out and according to The Telegraph, WTF1 favourite Maldonado could still yet lose his drive.

According to reports, ex-McLaren driver Kevin Magnussen has been in talks with Renault about a drive and while they’re still yet to announce a third driver, surely a rated driver like K-Mag would be favoured over the likes of Maldonado and Palmer?

It’s also believed that Maldonado’s big money sponsorship is in trouble, due to current political troubles in Venezuela and the low price of oil.

So, who should Renault pick?
