People often say anyone could win in the 2015 Mercedes W06 Hybrid and it seems as though that opinion is shared by 1992 Formula One World Champion, Nigel Mansell.
The 62-year-old Brit told BBC Radio that he’d be able to match Lewis Hamilton’s lap-times if he were driving this year’s dominant Mercedes car.
“I’d get very close to his time, if not do identical time,” said Mansell. “I won’t be bold and say maybe go a bit quicker. I’d get down to his time pretty quick. The thing is you can do it for a few laps, when you get old you can’t sustain it lap after lap.”
So there you go. Basically what Nigel is saying is that he’s faster than Nico Rosberg.
