So if like me you spent most of your childhood sat at home playing video games, hoping to become a racing driver, you probably thought it was all just a pipe dream. Well British GP3 driver, Jann Mardenborough has shown the world that it might not be so ridiculous after all, after the GT Academy driver won his first GP3 race at Hockenheim today.

Mardenborough spent much of his childhood playing Gran Turismo but after winning the GT Academy talent search he proved he was pretty handy behind the wheel of a non-virtual racing car too and now races at Le Mans and in the GP3 Series for Arden.
