Earlier this year Charlie Whiting and the FIA said that teams would have to buck their ideas up when it comes to making sure driver names and numbers are easy to see on the cars.
Numbers have to be at least 230mm high whilst names (or abbreviations) have to be at least 150mm high, and both have to be a contrasting colour from the background in order to stand out.
The rule comes into effect at the Spanish Grand Prix, and Mercedes has revealed what the change looks like on its two cars:
