Sunday’s MotoGP at Phillip Island had everything. A four-way battle for the lead, constant overtaking and a last lap pass for victory… it was so good, a local seagull wanted to get involved.
Was Andrea Iannone bothered? Hell no! There was no way the Italian was going to give up his race lead and headbutted the seagull out the way and straight to bird heaven.
And here’s what his motorcycle looked like afterwards…
A hard race for @andreaiannone29, an early encounter with local wildlife left him with a damaged fairing. #MotoGP pic.twitter.com/wBho3iVw3W
