The F1 Japanese Grand Prix may not have been the most exciting race in the world but MotoGP certainly delivered there.
The battle for victory went right down to the final corner of the final lap but the best thing of all is that it was between the two championship challengers Andrea Dovizioso and Marc Marquez.
The two riders matched each other for most of the race but it looked like Marquez would take the win to extended his championship lead.
However, a huge moment for the reigning champion allowed Dovizioso a chance, although Marquez was lucky it didn’t cost him a lot, lot more!

Dovizioso made his move but Marquez somehow managed to attempt a pass into the final corner without the two of them colliding. It wasn’t enough though and the Ducati rider had enough grunt down the main straight to take his fifth win of the season.
Best of all was after an incredible fight between the two rivals, this is how they greeted each other in parc ferme.

Marquez now has an 11-point lead on Dovizioso in the championship with just three rounds left go go.
