In last year’s Daytona 500, the Go Fas Racing team unveiled the most incredible livery of all-time when it plastered a giant image of driver Corey LaJoie’s face on the front. Equal parts hilarious and horrifying, the facecar was born.
Now, in 2020, the facecar is back… but with a twist. Nascar got back to racing weeks ago, providing a glimpse as to how most motorsport is likely going to look this year – no fans, team staff and circuit personnel practising social distancing, and lots of people wearing face masks…
…Including LaJoie’s facecar.
ICYMI: @CoreyLaJoie’s facecar is back with a special twist!
LaJoie will drive this @KeenParts scheme @MartinsvilleSwy on Wednesday night as we continue to practice social distancing and wearing masks to help keep us safe. pic.twitter.com/IGUYIuJZ8k

Yup, LaJoie will run this very 2020 livery during this Wednesday’s Cup race at Martinsville Speedway.
Let’s hope wearing the mask doesn’t cause his car to overheat – those things can get pretty hot – although it should at least make bump drafting a bit safer…
