Sure, the FIA decided it was a good idea to ban mid-season helmet changes but drivers are still allowed one special design a year.
Singapore has seen plenty of blingy helmet designs in recent years and Nico Hulkenberg’s design for this weekend’s race is no exception.
Created by helmet design hero Jens Munser (the guy behind all of Sebastian Vettel’s crazy helmets over the years) the design is seriously shiny and looks even cooler in pure darkness which you an see in the video below.

He’s not the only German driver with a snazzy lid this weekend as Pascal Wehrlein has also let Jens Munser create something crazy for the F1 night race.
