We all handle anger and frustration in different ways. Some bottle it up, others let it all out and a few see red and storm off.
Nick Wittmer was racing in the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car series at the Virginia International Raceway when he was forced to exit race two.
While the video cuts off just before a replay was seemingly shown, reports suggest Wittmer was leading the race and made contact with a lapped car with 12 minutes of the race left to go.
So, that makes the cause of his anger pretty clear. Once he’d exited his damaged car, Wittmer stormed off to the side of the track.
After taking off his helmet, he flung it at the ground in frustration at having to retire, which appeared to break part of it. Oops… To be fair, we’d be pretty angry too.
