Raikkonen’s FP2 Ended Early Because Of A Cross-Threaded Wheel Nut – WTF1

Raikkonen’s FP2 Ended Early Because Of A Cross-Threaded Wheel Nut

There have been plenty of accusations that Haas has been copying Ferrari, but now it looks it’s Ferrari which is stealing ideas from Haas.

It’s not the best idea to steal, though, as during FP2 Kimi left the pits with a cross-threaded front-right wheel nut and had to stop soon after – the exact same fate that befell the Haas drivers in Australia. Get your tinfoil hats ready, people…

At least he didn’t get lost in the desert this time! Until the wheel issue Kimi looked to be carrying on his good form, finishing FP2 fastest ahead of his teammate. Ferrari is looking good then – although with a fine on the way for the unsafe release, a little less well off. Good job the team gets those special historical bonus payments…
