Herman Tilke gets criticised for his creations, so here’s what a circuit would look like if it was designed by a Formula One driver.
This is Daniel Ricciardo’s ultimate race track, created in an interview with the Herald Sun. It features more than double the amount of turns as the circuits on the current F1 calendar and includes the best complexes from around the world.

Monaco, Spa, Silverstone, Suzuka, Monza, Montreal, Albert Park… even Sochi makes an appearance on Ricciardo’s ultimate circuit and it was then turned into one awesome Scalextric track.
“Drivers always picture what their ultimate track would look like and it’s exciting to see mine brought to life,” said Ricciardo. “I look at the map and I go, ‘Wow, it looks busy’, but I think it would be a lot of fun if some drivers got to drive on it.
“I wish I was 10 years old again and had a big garage that I could fit this in … the track is awesome.”
