Check out this awesome onboard footage of a classic Ferrari 333 SP sportscar lapping the Daytona circuit during Ferrari’s ‘Finale Mondiale’ event.

The Ferrari 333SP was designed and built by Dallara in the mid-1990s to race in IMSA. It had great success, winning many races (including the Daytona 24 Hours in 1998) and championships both in America and in Europe. That glorious-sound comes from a 4.0-litre V12 which was derived from the F1 engine of the time.

Because Daytona hosts plenty of racing at night the cars also went out in the dark, so driver Martin Lanting also got some great footage of him lapping the track under lights.

Hands up those who didn’t expect the F1 car to blast past at 1:10!
