The DTM title drew to a close at the season finale in Hockenheim and it was Audi’s Rene Rast who took the championship to become the first rookie to do so since Nicola Larini back in 1993.
Second place on the road was enough for the German to win the title from Mattias Ekstrom by just three points, with Jamie Green another three points behind to make it an extremely close championship between the top three.
DTM are thankfully pretty good with their online coverage and there’s already Rast’s entire onboard from the Hockenheim finale! Impressive stuff.
