Following the Styrian Grand Prix, Matt Amys decided to put together his own version of F1's awesome podium robots

Lewis Hamilton may not think much of the podium robots (he called them “weird” - how dare he!), but for many, the cute little boxes have already become something of a cult hero as they zoom up to drivers, deliver, the trophy, and then zoom off.

After the last race, YouTuber Matt Amys - the guy who’s perhaps best known for his videos of putting modern TV graphics on classic races - decided to have a go and making his own podium robots using little more than some foamboard, glue, and a cheap remote-controlled car.
