Gran Turismo is known for having some pretty bonkers concept cars in their games, most notably Adrian Newey’s Red Bull X machines.
Well now FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) have unveiled their entry into the Vision Gran Turismo project. Known as the Tomahawk series it has not one, not two but three cars in it.
The ‘entry level’ SRT Tomahawk S Vision Gran Turismo produces a casual 1,007bhp and weighs in at just under a tonne. It will reach 250mph which is Bugatti Veyron territory.
The SRT Tomahawk GTS-R Vision Gran Turismo has increased power and decreased weight, with 1,450bhp and 1,459lb being the vital stats here. With a top speed of 300mph, it will rival the mighty Red Bull X cars in the top speed department, and will also challenge the tuned Huayras and T23 Stradales.
However the one which everybody is talking about is the SRT Tomahawk X Vision Gran Turismo. At an incredible 2,590bhp, it greatly exceeds any car ever seen in the Gran Turismo series on power alone, and it will hit a whopping 404mph on the straights.
Best of all, as with every new car in GT6 to date, it will be included in a free update, which is due to land during the summer.
